Advertise on WorldWeb's Page!

Advertising is one of the ways of providing the general public, consumers in the target market, with information about one's business, products and/or services. Events such as fund-raising ceremonies, weddings and the like can also be advertised.

The Internet is another medium for advertising (such as television and radio) which has a wide, global reach. Want people in your neighborhood to come visit your shop? Or how about letting people from an entire state know about your shop and attract a larger number of customers over? The whole country? How about tourists and other foreign nationals around the world looking for just the kinds of antiques and souvenirs available in your shop? A rightly placed advert on the internet can help you achieve these and perhaps even more. That's the irresistible offer WWL is placing before you! Advertise on our web page now and go for the benefits!

Advert Specifications

First, it is important to note that adverts placed on WWL's web page shall be in the form of 'banner ads' which don't take up much space and provide readers/viewers with straight forward information about whatever is being advertised along with any other relevant details such as addresses, phone numbers or dates.

All adverts must not exceed 10 kilobytes in size and be of the following dimensions: width - 5.22cm, 2.6 inches or 198 pixels length - 5cm, 1.98 inches or 190 pixels [IT'S EASIER USING PIXELS FOR THE MEASUREMENTS]

The adverts can be categorized into these groups/types:

  • those appearing amongst a group of three (3), each advert message lasting for ten (10) seconds, and the group of three adverts appearing for a period of one (1) hour [repetitive]

  • individual adverts lasting a whole hour all on their own, meaning all visitors to the page for that hour get to see such a message alone

  • individual adverts lasting an hour on their own and also having links to the sponsors' websites attached to them directing interested visitors to the sites (when they click on the adverts).
